    Aylsham Library Chess Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings of every month (from 10.00 to around 12.00) It is aimed at adults (ECF rating 1000 to 1700 approx.) who want to play relaxed social chess in a pleasant environment.

    Broadland Chess Club

    Broadland Chess Club will be launching an afternoon casual chess club between the hours of 2:30pm and 4:30pm on a Monday from 2nd March 2026 in the Torben Room at the Viking Centre on Tills Road Sprowston NR6 7QZ.

    All players welcome, there will be a small weekly charge of £2 to cover room hire costs.

    Next door to the Torben Room the café, Longboats and Lattes, will be open to serve teas, coffees and cakes to enjoy whilst playing your games.

    CLTSA Chess Group (Cromer)

    CLTSA Chess Group:

    All welcome, including beginners. If you have a chess board, do bring it along.

    Very informal and a growing group. Non-members £5 per session or £5 for annual social membership.

    Cromer Lawn Tennis and Racket Sports Club is open to the public on a pay & play basis and also offers a range of membership options, including a social membership (for non-racket sport members). The Club's facilities include all-weather tennis courts, table tennis, squash and pickleball. Open 7 days a week, from 9am, there is a fully licensed bar also serving tea/coffee/cake and function room available for hire. A wide variety of social events run on a regular basis.
